Credit Cards
|
If you wish to place an order it is easiest
to use your VISA or Mastercard. We will not charge your account until
your order is ready for despatch. Your account will be charged in
sterling. If outside the UK your card issuer may charge you a fee to convert to
your local currency.
You can either telephone or fax us your card details - card number;
issue date (for debit cards); expiry date; security code; name that
appears on the card; full address (incl. house number/name and
postcode) or you can use e-mail (but it is not guaranteed secure) and a
daytime contact number.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WITH CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ORDERS WE
CAN ONLY DELIVER TO THE REGISTERED ADDRESS OF THE CARD HOLDER.

Cheques
|
We can only accept cheques in sterling drawn
against a UK bank account. Cheques should be made out to "Ride and
Drive". |
Terms & Conditions
|
For retail items ie. driving accessories we
require payment in full before despatch. For made-to-measure harness
and bridlework orders we require a deposit at the time of order (25%
for harness, 50% bridlework), with
payment in full upon completion. All prices are in UK Sterling. The
customer is responsible for any custom taxes/import duties etc. payable
in their own country.
In the event of any dispute arising from an order it shall be resolved
in the English courts.

Cancellation
|
You have the right to cancel your order/contract within 14 days without giving any reason unless the items are made to your specification
or clearly personalised - such as made-to-measure or bespoke goods or, in the case of a harness or bridle are made to template/measure
for a specified horse/pony. In these instances you have no right to cancel the order/contract. Where applicable our measuring/fitting service is subject to a
consultation fee and mileage allowance which is not refundable as it is a cost incurred for services rendered at the time of our visit.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day after the day on which you acquire, or a third party (other than a carrier),
indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear written statement (eg. a letter sent by post,
email or fax where applicable). To meet the cancellation deadline it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the
right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of Cancellation
|
If you cancel this contract we will reimburse to you all payments received from you for the goods supplied, including the costs
of delivery if the item was sent by post (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than
the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We will make the reimbursement without delay, and not later than: -
a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have retimed the goods, or
c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this
contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have
expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back
the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at the address overleaf without undue delay and in any event not
later tl1an 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us.
The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of resuming the goods.
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied. You are liable for any
diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics
and functioning of the goods as you would inspect the goods in a shop. By using the goods you may be charged
a sum commensurate with use.

Delivery
|
In stock items will be despatched once funds
have been cleared into our
account. For bit orders where it is necessary to have the bit
manufactured delivery can take 4 to 6 weeks and you will be informed of this at time of order. For made-to-measure work
delivery time is dependent upon our workload at the time, which tends
to be seasonal. |
Postage & Packing
|
Postage and packing on all other items will be charged
at cost. Please contact us before placing
an order so we can advise you of this cost. Packages in the UK are
usually sent by first class post but heavy/larger items will be sent by
courier.
Packages to non-UK addresses will be sent via airmail
unless requested otherwise. Certain
items are not suitable for sending by post and are therefore not
available outside mainland UK.
