Credit Cards

If you wish to place an order it is easiest to use your VISA or Mastercard. We will not charge your account until your order is ready for despatch and your account will be charged in sterling. If outside the UK it will be converted by your card issuer to your local currency and may charge an additional fee. You can either telephone or fax us your card details - card number; issue date (for debit cards); expiry date; security code; name that appears on the card; full address (incl. house number/name and postcode) or you can use e-mail (but it is not guaranteed secure) and a daytime contact number.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WITH CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ORDERS WE CAN ONLY DELIVER TO THE REGISTERED ADDRESS OF THE CARD HOLDER.

Cheques

We can only accept cheques in sterling drawn against a UK bank account. Cheques should be made out to "Ride and Drive".

Terms & Conditions

For retail items we require payment in full before despatch. All prices are in UK Sterling. The customer is responsible for any custom taxes/import duties etc. payable in their own country. In the event of any dispute arising from an order it shall be resolved in the English courts.

Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order/contract within 14 days without giving any reason unless the items are made to your specification or clearly personalised - such as made-to-measure or bespoke goods or, in the case of a harness or bridle are made to template/measure for a specified horse/pony. In these instances you have no right to cancel the order/contract. Where applicable our measuring/fitting service is subject to a consultation fee and mileage allowance which is not refundable as it is a cost incurred for services rendered at the time of our visit. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day after the day on which you acquire, or a third party (other than a carrier), indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear written statement (eg. a letter sent by post, email or fax where applicable). To meet the cancellation deadline it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract we will reimburse to you all payments received from you for the goods supplied, including the costs of delivery if the item was sent by post (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We will make the reimbursement without delay, and not later than: -
a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have retimed the goods, or
c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at the address overleaf without undue delay and in any event not later tl1an 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of resuming the goods.

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods as you would inspect the goods in a shop. By using the goods you may be charged a sum commensurate with use.

Postage & Packing

In stock items will be despatched once funds have been cleared into our account. All hats are carefully packed in strong cardboard boxes and sent to mainland UK addresses by Royal Mail Special Delivery. This service costs 6.60 for a single hat.

Packages to non-UK addresses will be sent via airmail unless requested otherwise. Please contact us before placing an order so we can advise you how much the postage will cost.
